Pizza Blanket Redux

Updated: Jan 18, 2023

I made my husband a round pizza blanket out of Red Heart Yarn and it’s wearing a little thin lately so I decided to make another. This time I am using Wool Ease Thick & Quick in Fisherman for the cheese, Cranberry for the sauce, Flax for the crust, and Spice for the pepperoni.

I began with a magic circle and 12 hdc and increased to 18, 24, 36, etc using a P 10mm hook. The goal is to use up all the yarn my friend so graciously gifted to me. I think I am 4/12oz skeins in.

It’s a nice easy project that repeats so I don’t need to follow a pattern. I’ll add a row or 2 for sauce and then for crust. The pepperoni will start with 6 hdc in a magic circle and increase a few rows to about the size of a large coaster.

STAY TUNED for more updates!
